Disciplines
-
A human remains detection canine is trained to locate the remains of deceased individuals on land and in the water. The dogs are trained to locate buried, elevated, nose-level, and submerged sources.
-
These dogs are trained to locate live human scent. They do not require scent articles because they are trained to “indicate” on any live human in the area. They are used to cover vast distances in the wilderness.
-
Trailing dogs follow where a person traveled. They require a scent article to ensure that they follow the correct trail, and they are trained to trail people on all types of terrain.
-
Avalanche dogs are trained to locate people in the snow who can be buried deeper than five feet.
-
In the unfortunate event of a disaster, our team members and canines would be ready to respond in any capacity.

Certifications
Our dogs undergo internal and external certifications to verify their deployability and reliability. Our training standards are set through the National Search Dog Alliance, and we recertify our dogs regularly to comply with those standards. Our dogs also have their Canine Good Citizenship certification and are trained extensively in obedience. Working with and certifying each canine in their respective search and rescue field takes years of consistent training.
